Edge AI & embedded systems

Intelligence engineered where software meets the physical world.

We combine sensors, single-board computers, connectivity and AI to create responsive systems for homes, facilities and field operations.

Our perspective

Make decisions closer to the signal.

Cloud computing remains powerful, but physical systems often need to respond immediately, preserve privacy or continue operating through inconsistent connectivity. Edge architecture places the necessary logic close to devices and users.

Kaizen Technologies prototypes and integrates embedded systems around the actual environment: available power, network quality, sensor conditions, user interaction, security and maintenance. We connect devices to cloud services only where that connection creates value.

Our work in this field informs Talata, our in-development smart-home intelligence platform. The same capabilities apply to environmental monitoring, computer vision, asset visibility and intelligent facility control.

01

System prototyping

Validate sensors, compute, connectivity and control logic before investing in wider deployment.

02

Single-board computing

Build responsive systems with appropriate edge hardware and local processing.

03

Sensor integration

Capture environmental, operational and device signals with calibrated data workflows.

04

Edge AI

Run suitable vision, detection and decision models close to the source of data.

05

Device-to-cloud systems

Synchronise relevant data, alerts and management functions through secure services.

06

Operational resilience

Design explicit behaviour for network interruptions, restarts and degraded conditions.

Designed for outcomes

Technology earns its place through results.

We connect technical decisions to the operational change they need to produce.

01

Low-latency response

Act locally when every second or connection matters.

02

Data control

Keep appropriate processing close to the device and user.

03

Physical automation

Connect real-world signals to reliable digital actions.

Questions

What organisations ask before we begin.

Which hardware platforms do you use?

We select hardware around compute, interfaces, power, availability, security and deployment scale. Single-board computers often provide a strong prototyping and edge foundation.

Can the system work without internet access?

We can design core local functions to continue during connectivity interruptions, depending on the required data and external services.

Do you manufacture hardware?

We currently focus on system design, prototyping, software, integration and appropriate hardware sourcing rather than claiming large-scale manufacturing capability.

Is Talata available for installation?

Talata remains in development. We currently welcome technology, pilot and investment conversations rather than presenting it as a generally available product.
